A Simple Holiday

I have never stayed at a villa before, so I am quite excited. I just kind of feel like my partying days are so over. I have not been able to do anything remotely fun in years, but I think that I am more of an adult now. I value relaxation and quietness. I value the time that is spent not doing anything. I guess I just enjoy it so much more than the younger people, and now I know why my parents seemed so boring. I think that it will be great for me to pursue. After all, I get stressed out at work all the time. I just want to make sure that I get the time to unwind at the villas so that I can be more productive when I go back.
Surfs Up All the Time in Cornwall
Thursday, September 22nd, 2011As an avid surfer, when my friend offered me a place on her family holiday to the surfing haven of Cornwall this summer (her brother had to drop out due to university obligations) I jumped at the chance! Her parents had booked accommodation at the Retallack holiday resort which I had heard is extremely family orientated. Although the grapevine was correct about this fact, I was more than catered for at the resort entertainment wise (though admittedly, I did spend more of my time on the white sandy beaches of the county than I did inside the vast confines of Retallack).
The onsite Flow Rider (a surf-like wave creating machine) was one of my favourite things about the place though, for it meant that I could surf whenever I felt the desire to even if the real ocean was calm and still. I really hope I am invited to go back with my friends’ family next year!
