Taking Online Jobs Seriously

Thursday, July 15th, 2010

You know, there isn’t that much that’s different, essentially, between jobs that you do solely and exclusively over the web, and jobs that you actually show up for. You still have to get your work done on time. You still have to be prompt about deadlines, and you still have to report to your boss on a regular basis. In fact, a lot of times, online jobs actually demand more than those jobs that you actually show up for in person. This is because what happens is that people at the company know that you’re at home, and they know that the only thing they can go on is the data, the work that you produce. And without that, without your production, you won’t be able to get the recognition or appreciation that you’ve come to expect or even that you deserve. So if you land one of these online jobs, take it seriously. Get your stuff done.
